What is Kiam Kiam?
Kiam Kiam is Snacko Inc.’s dried-fruit snack brand, inspired by a sweet, tangy and salty plum flavor remembered from childhood. We pair carefully selected fruit with distinctive fruit-powder coatings to create something familiar, yet different.
What does “Kiam Kiam” mean?
Kiam Kiam is the name we grew up using for the distinctive preserved-plum flavor familiar to many Philippine-Chinese families. It became the natural name for our brand.
Where are Kiam Kiam products made?
Our products are prepared and packed in the Philippines by Snacko Inc., in small batches with attention to consistency and quality.
Where do your mangoes come from?
We use mangoes sourced from the Central Visayan islands of the Philippines.
Where does your plum fruit powder come from?
We carefully source our plum fruit powders from plum-growing regions of southern China and from the foothills of Taiwan’s Central Mountain Range. We value provenance and prefer to source close to where the ingredients originate.
What makes Kiam Kiam Mango Bites different?
We focus on soft, easy-to-chew mango pieces with consistent texture and an even coating of fruit powder, giving each bite the balance of fruit and flavor we are looking for.
What flavors are available?
Our Mango Bites range includes Original Plum, Chili Plum and Calamansi. Each has its own character while keeping the soft, chewy mango at the center.
Is the Calamansi flavor made with real calamansi?
Yes. Our Calamansi Mango Bites use real calamansi fruit powder paired with Philippine mango.
Are you introducing other fruits?
Yes. Kiam Kiam began with mango, but we are gradually exploring other carefully selected fruits that pair naturally with our distinctive flavors. As a small and growing company, we prefer to develop new products thoughtfully and introduce them when we believe they are ready to become part of the Kiam Kiam family.
